About Us
Steve Sweeney founded Advanced Database Designs in 1987 which has been servicing clients with database design and implementation services in various industries. Clients have included Fortune 100 companies as well as internet start-ups. Advanced Database Designs has specialized in building web based billing, customer support, royalty payment and other business applications. In March 2007, the billing system was recognized by O'Neil Software, the international leader in records storage management software, for Technical Excellence at their annual Strategic Partner Conference in Huntington Beach, California.
Steve Peterson has been a senior financial officer for public companies and internet start-ups . Two of the start-ups were successfully sold to public companies. Mr. Peterson also co-founded SentryTrack Systems LLC, a provider of remote monitoring solutions for the municipal utility industry. Peterson began his career with CPA Firm Main Hurdman in New York, where his clients included Cablevision and Pfizer. He then worked eleven years in various senior financial management positions for Capital Cities/ABC (now owned by Disney), and was CFO of book publisher , HaperCollins of San Francisco, a division of News Corporation.
In 1995, Steve Sweeney and Steve Peterson first worked together at the pioneering on-line community called The Well. Over the years, they have continued to work on numerous client projects and formed a great personal friendship. As avid baseball fans, they also enjoy many hours discussing whether it will be Mets or Giants that win the pennant. The Mets are looking good in 2008.
The two Steve's teamed together to bring KPI reporting to executives, bookkeepers and business professionals that want better financial reporting yet do not have the tools or expertise to extract and display meaningful results. webKPI provides clients with a simple yet powerful dashboard of financial and operational metrics to ensure "what gets measured gets done".
